The 17th Annual Southeast Severe Storms Symposium was held on March 23-24, 2019 at Memorial Hall, on the campus of Mississippi State University. The annual conference brings together meteorologists, students, and weather enthusiasts from across not just the Southeast region, but from all reaches of the United States, to learn more about the weather enterprise. This year’s conference will feature general presentation sessions, a poster session, and a panel session. This year, the conference had approximately 175 attendees from all fields of meteorology.

I had such a great time this weekend at the symposium! I loved seeing my old classmates, listening to helpful tips about the broadcast and operational side of meteorology and just enjoying my brief time back at Mississippi State. I can’t wait for next year. ❤️❤️ #SESVR2019 pic.twitter.com/A4xq26AaCX
